The new Superman Movie Man of Steel hits theaters June 14. This is the film I'm most looking forward to this summer.
When the new
Superman costume first revealed, I wondered if I'd ever get used to seeing Superman without the trunks. After all, he'd had red trunks since 1938. At first, seeing him without the trunks was weird.

With the new trunks-less images strictly enforced in ALL media (comics, animation, toys, publicity, and of course the MAN OF STEEL movie), I must say: now the original red trunks are starting to look awkward to me in a way they never did before, while, in contrast, the new super suit looked natural and normal.

The old
superman costume is a classic, although it had some variations on its resistance and other minor details sans the S-shield, it remained virtually unchanged and represents Superman's 75 years history. But the new superman suit has grown on me. It retains most of the classic elements, looks more modernized and more alien. The only problem is that I think adding a belt would make a big difference to this new suit.
So guys, does now the old
superman suit now look weird to you?
